Summary/Abstract: Podcasts are analysed on several levels: the role of platforms, digital tools, and artificial intelligence. The aim is to identify the place of podcasts in the media ecosystem, the ways they are implemented, changes in content, the behaviour of podcasters and participants, and communicative and rhetorical techniques. The 􀂿rst hypothesisis that podcasts are not homogeneous manifestations and the differences are on di􀵵erentlevels: topics, dialogues, linguistic elements, digital tools, virtual communication. The second hypothesis is that podcasts play a significant role in society and media ecosystems concerning mediatization and (re) mediatization. The methodology combines cyberethnographic observation, rhetorical, media, and content analysis. The corpus includes podcasts produced in Bulgaria by media and journalists, businesses and NGOs, celebrities, and institutions.
