Summary/Abstract: The text is an introduction to an academic book that resulted from a series of interdisciplinary symposia titled "Animal Studies for Advanced Researchers" organized at the University of Warsaw. The publication focuses on the analysis of human-animal relationships through the lens of six key concepts: agency, experience, relations, representation, body, and harm. It is the first multi-perspective study of its kind in Poland, aiming to organize the terminology and inspire further development of domestic animal studies.
