Summary/Abstract: The article explores the figure of Hanna Krzemieniecka (Janina Furs-Żyrkiewicz) in the context of her involvement with the Theosophical Society and the influence of esoteric ideas on her literary works. It examines three of her novels ('Fatum, A gdy odejdzie…, Lecą wichry!') to show how cosmology shaped the spiritual evolution of the protagonists. The paper highlights Krzemieniecka’s role in the Warsaw theosophical milieu of the early 20th century and emphasizes the emancipatory dimension of esoteric movements, especially for women. The figure of the female theosophist, central to Krzemieniecka’s life and writing, is presented as an example of modern spirituality and an emancipation-oriented evolutionary vision within the framework of Polish modernity.
