Summary/Abstract: In the context of contemporary conflicts, the integration of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) into artillery operations represents a transformative advancement in the collection, processing, and dissemination of tactical data. This paper explores the implications of employing UAS to provide real-time reconnaissance, target acquisition, and fire adjustment support for ground artillery units. By significantly enhancing situational awareness and reducing the sensor-to-shooter cycle, UAS contribute to improved accuracy, faster response times, and overall operational efficiency on the battlefield. The study also addresses key challenges associated with the effective use of these systems, including secure and reliable data transmission, interoperability with existing command-and-control structures, and vulnerabilities to electronic warfare and anti-UAS measures. The conclusions emphasize the critical need for the development of comprehensive doctrine, specialized training programs, and standardized technological frameworks to ensure that UAS can be effectively and safely integrated into artillery support missions, ultimately enhancing combat effectiveness while mitigating operational risks.
