Summary/Abstract: The global security environment is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by accelerated technological development and intensifying competition among great powers. Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, cyber capabilities, and space-based assets have moved from a supporting role to a central position in shaping strategic behavior, military doctrines, and power relations. This paper examines how technological competition contributes to the reconfiguration of the global security environment and influences contemporary power dynamics. The analysis focuses on structural changes in the international security system, the expansion of competition across multiple domains, and the growing challenges associated with deterrence, alliance cohesion, and strategic stability. It further explores the implications of technological rivalry for global and regional security architectures, as well as future trends and strategic perspectives in an increasingly contested environment. Using a qualitative and analytical approach, the paper argues that the ability to adapt to technological change and manage continuous competition will be decisive for maintaining stability in the evolving international security landscape.
