Summary/Abstract: After completing this chapter, student will be able to: Analyze real-world compliance challenges multinational companies face when operating under different legal, cultural, and political systems, and propose possible solutions. Evaluate organisational models for managing compliance and design recommendations for building a global compliance programme that balances central consistency with local effectiveness. Analyze how cultural models and behaviour patterns differ across countries and apply this knowledge to act effectively in compliance situations. Identify the critical steps of third-party and supply chain due diligence and use practical tools (e.g., checklists, risk-mapping) to manage third-party risks.
