Summary/Abstract: After successfully mastering the materials in this section, the student will be able to: Interpret key legislative acts governing data protection (GDPR (European Parliament and Council, 2016) – General Data Protection Regulation, Law of Ukraine «On Personal Data Protection» (Law of Ukraine No. 2297-VI, 2010) and cybersecurity (NIS2 Directive (European Parliament and Council, 2022), Law of Ukraine «On the Basic Principles of Ensuring Cybersecurity in Ukraine» (Law of Ukraine No. 2163-VIII, 2017) and their impact on corporate compliance strategies. Identify the potential benefits and threats associated with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and Regulatory Technology (RegTech) tools to optimize and automate compliance control procedures; Design the fundamental components of an IT compliance program, in particular, formulate data handling policies, create algorithms for responding to cyber incidents, and justify criteria for selecting technological solutions.
