Summary/Abstract: After studying this chapter, learners will be able to: Understand the conceptual basis for determining the effectiveness of a compliance management system and the relationship between policies, risk management, monitoring, audits, and assessment results. Plan and implement monitoring and measurement, identify key performance indicators and key risk indicators (KRIs) to assess the effectiveness of compliance processes. Analyze assessment results and identify trends, causes of non-compliance, and systemic issues in the functioning of the compliance management system.
