Summary/Abstract: The aim of the report is to present an up to date perusal - of several key European and national political values (in the Bulgarian Civic Education textbooks for grades 11 and 12) - in the era of transition from a unipolar to a multipolar world. Its main thesis is that the processes (economic, political and socio-cultural) in today’s turbulent world have a high impact on what is happening in the European Union and Bulgaria, as a member state, which in turn reflects on the curriculum content of the subject “Civic Education” in 11th and 12th grade in Bulgarian secondary school. In our report we will defend our thesis through a parallel between key national and European values. The main method we will use is a method of analysis.
