The reader will find on the following pages the complete official text of the Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations. This document, which was finally accepted on December 10th, 1948, at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris will permit the reader to situate in their proper context the preceding analyses of the problem of Human Rights written in their personal capacity by those philosophers and writers who were consulted by UNESCO during the summer of 1947.
