Summary/Abstract: Unemployment remains one of the most persistent socio-economic challenges in Europe. This paper aims to explore the dynamics of unemployment and the future of work among digital transformation, automation, and green transition. By combining economic and technological perspectives and indicators, it analyses structural changes in the labour market, EU policy responses, and variations among countries. Even though technological advancements may display certain jobs, it also generates new forms of employment. The paper concludes the labour market policies and EU strategies which are crucial for sustainable employment in the digital era.
