By exploring the theoretical foundations of system concepts and applying them to the banking credit framework, the study examines the structural, functional, and strategic aspects of credit systems. It highlights the dynamic interrelations between credit resources and allocations, the integration of credit policy and credit technologies, and the importance of aligning credit operations with macro- and microeconomic factors. Emphasizing the critical role of effective management and regulatory compliance, the paper underscores how a well-organized credit system contributes to economic stability, sustainable growth, and financial sector resilience. The findings also reflect on the specific features of Azerbaijan’s banking sector and offer insights for optimizing credit systems in similar emerging economies.
