Summary/Abstract: Digital transformation is reshaping European workplaces, bringing automation, AI, and new workflows. While enhancing efficiency, these changes pose psychological challenges for employees, affecting stress, adaptability, and learning. The aim of this study is to conduct a literature review that synthesizes research from organizational psychology, management, and European case studies to explore these impacts. Findings show that high cognitive demands and uncertainty increase stress, whereas training, support, and resilience promote adaptability and skill development. The review highlights gaps in understanding the combined effects of digitalization on employee well-being and provides practical insights for managers and policymakers to design strategies that balance technological advancement with psychological support in European organizations.
