Summary/Abstract: This study explore the gender wage gap and inequalities, during the period 2020–2024 in Albania, based on secondary data. The gender wage gap still exists in Albania, and the purpose of this paper is to study it across the most requested professions and the main economic activities, and also to identify its driving factors. The analysis shows that the division of professions by gender and the undervaluation of professions typically performed by women significantly stimulate gender inequality in the labor market. Through recommendations, we try to suggest public policies that focus on reducing inequalities, especially structural ones, in the labor market.
