Summary/Abstract: This study explores the future of banking in the context of digital transformation and the growing importance of digital banks (neobanks). Through a systematic literature review and analysis of realworld case studies, including Revolut’s entry into the Bulgarian market, it assesses the impact of mobile banking, AI, and blockchain on consumer behavior, revenues, and the strategies of traditional banks. The results confirm that digital banking is reshaping the financial services paradigm and outlining new hybrid business models. The study has practical relevance for bankers, fintech companies, and regulators, offering guidance for adaptation and sustainable development.
