Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to explore the impact of Bulgaria’s forthcoming accession to the Eurozone on the conditions for international entrepreneurship in the country. Three central effects are outlined: the reduction of transaction costs; facilitated access to international markets; and increased stability and predictability of the business environment. The paper addresses the potential benefits and challenges for internationally active Bulgarian enterprises arising from these effects. The experience of other member states is analyzed, along with the practical implications for Bulgaria.
