Summary/Abstract: The study assessed irrigation impact on typical chernozem structure via dry and wet sieving, under various fertilization regimes versus non-irrigated control. Fertilization increased valuable aggregates (3–0,25 mm) by 8,7% under non-irrigated conditions, while irrigation improved the content of teh same aggregates by 7% in unfertilized soil. Combined fertilization (manure + NPK) showed slight structural benefits under irrigation. Irrigation, especially during drought, supports soil biological activity dependent on moisture, which in turn positively affects soil structure.
