Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the results of the population research in Florești district according to age and gender criteria. The final results of the 2024 Population and Housing Census were used as the basis for this study, in order to determine some indices (masculinity index, feminization index) and to structure the population by age groups of economic interest. Various investigation methods were used in the study: bibliographical study, statistical-mathematical method, cartographic method.
