Summary/Abstract: In the curriculum of the Marketing major, legal sciences introduce students to that part of the law, which is a system of norms that regulate the legal status of traders and the relationships they enter into in the process of carrying out their main activity. This places this type of science as one of the mandatory ones for study by students of the Marketing major at the Bulgarian State University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov". Within the limits of this direction, the main goal of this study is associated with the construction of a theoretical framework for the essence of legal sciences and their importance for marketing and, on the basis of this, to carry out an empirical study of the satisfaction of students of the Marketing major with the material provided in lectures and exercises. The empirical study was conducted during the period September 2024 - May 2025 using surveys distributed via the Google Forms system. The comparative analysis shows the diversity of students' opinions regarding the quality and methods of providing the mandatory material in the discipline under consideration.
