Summary/Abstract: In today’s globalized environment, the future EFL teachers, interpreters and translators should navigate complex professional demands, including problem-solving, expertise in international relations, and advanced proficiency in the working languages of their field. This study is particularly relevant for MA students at the C1 level at Balti State University “Alecu Russo” (USARB), as it addresses the critical need to develop both fluency and accuracy in English. By focusing on a lexical approach to vocabulary acquisition, the research highlights effective strategies for enhancing advanced learners’ productive skills, ensuring they can navigate complex academic and professional tasks. The study’s insights are valuable for designing targeted, high-level speaking and vocabulary activities tailored to the needs of C1 learners in an EFL context, bridging the gap between receptive knowledge and active language use.
