Summary/Abstract: Inclusive education represents a fundamental approach to ensuring equal opportunities within the contemporary educational system. In this context, parental involvement in school activities emerges as one of the major priorities of current education. The active participation of parents in the learning process of children with special educational needs (SEN) is an essential dimension, with a direct impact on their complex and harmonious development. The article highlights the importance of the families’ constant involvement in the education of children with SEN, emphasizing the decisive role of the school– family partnership in their successful educational and social integration. It also analyzes strategies for motivating parents to effectively participate in school activities, stressing the need to implement specially designed educational programs that directly engage families. It is argued that motivating parents to actively participate in the educational process can be facilitated by developing structured educational programs and projects oriented towards cooperation and partnership – programs that generate both immediate and lasting benefits not only for students with SEN but also for the entire school community.
