Summary/Abstract: The article presents a comparative analysis of institutional practices of inclusive education in European universities, highlighting the strategic directions, policies, and support mechanisms that facilitate the equitable participation of students with diverse needs. The study reflects both the variety of institutional approaches and the persistent barriers that hinder the implementation of genuine inclusion. The analyzed examples show that many universities provide specialized support centers, integrated counseling services, flexible curricula, assistive technologies, and effective pedagogical practices. The findings indicate that institutions with advanced levels of inclusion are those in which organizational culture, strategic policies, and investments in human resources and infrastructure mutually reinforce one another. The analysis underscores the need to develop coherent policies in the Republic of Moldova by adapting European standards and strengthening support services. The central argument of the article is that inclusion constitutes a fundamental element for academic excellence, social cohesion, and innovation in contemporary higher education.
