Summary/Abstract: The global increase in students with specific learning disorders (SLDs) entering higher education has drawn attention to the academic and research challenges they face. In response, universities have begun implementing strategies that enhance accessibility, provide targeted support, and address diverse learning needs. These developments reflect broader institutional shifts toward reducing educational disparities and promoting inclusive pedagogical practices. This article synthesizes current knowledge on inclusive environments in higher education for students with SLDs, emphasizing the importance of evidence-based adaptive learning systems that remove barriers and foster equitable participation. Key interventions identified in recent research are outlined as practical guidance for faculty, administrative staff, and policymakers seeking to improve support structures for this student population. The article concludes by discussing emerging trends in inclusive higher education and proposing future directions to strengthen institutional responsiveness to students with SLDs.
