Summary/Abstract: The present study captures the apologetic dimension of the work of the Holy Priest Martyr Hilarion V. Felea, a true defender of the faith in the face of the secular trends of European culture that were beginning to manifest themselves even then, but also in the face of militant atheism coming from the East. The specifics of his apologetics are presented in the context of the Romanian apologetics from the first half of the 20th century, which had as its representatives Irineu Mihălcescu or Ioan G. Savin. Next, the study captures the content of Father Felea's apologetics, presented in two subchapters entitled: Christianity is the true religion. The concept of religion and Theology and culture, in which the personal vision of the theologian from Arad is presented.
