Summary/Abstract: Looking at the history of our people, we distinguish the fact that there was a beautiful symbiosis between the Army and the Church, the Romanian soldier also being a good Christian. As for the institutional relationship, it developed over time, along with the existential development of the two institutions, until at the beginning of the 19th century, the century of social and institutional modernization of the Romanian Principalities, this historical link also had a legal status, which in time would be perfected, tested during the First World War and crowned with the establishment of the Military Bishopric in 1921. I will try to capture all these stages in the study of face, trying to highlight, first of all, the necessity of the presence of the priest on the front of the first world war, taking into account, above all, the extremely poor conditions in which the pastorate could be done.
