Summary/Abstract: The objective of this study is to analyze both quantitatively and qualitatively the situation of Spanish as a foreign language (hereafter ELE) at all educational levels — from preschool to higher education — within the Polish educational system between the years 2004 and 2024. It is precisely during these two decades of the second millennium that Spanish begins to appear in the Polish educational landscape with increasing consistency, and it soon becomes the third most selected foreign language by students. Therefore, it is worth analyzing in detail the circumstances that explain the success of ELE in Polish classrooms.
