Summary/Abstract: Many scientists across the world are currently focusing their efforts on containing the Covid-19 pandemic. There are various means to do that, and they are mainly medical and aimed at the health infrastructure and the health system as a whole. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that health infrastructure has not only a direct effect on the management of the pandemic, but moreover, it also has an impact on the competitiveness of economies. Improving or deteriorating health infrastructure has a positive or negative impact on national competitiveness, respectively. Linked to this is also the argument supported in this paper. The target of this study is the level of competitiveness, and its subject matter is the way in which the health infrastructure affects the competitiveness in the terms of a pandemic. It is aimed at studying a number of economies and to identify the impact of the relevant health infrastructures on one of the most important economic indicators such as competitiveness.
