Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to the study of risk in the cooperatives. A cooperative as a business unit is subject to all kinds of risks that ordinary companies are suffering. However, the organizational structure of the cooperative and its specifics are source of additional risks. In the study, an attempt is made to list in detail these specific risks for the cooperative. It is also presented a method for identifying risks, as well as for assessing the degree of impact of these risks on the cooperative and possible strategies for their management.
