Summary/Abstract: This article aims to examine and analyze the impact of the cruise industry and specifically its economic impact. The cruise industry is an important pillar of the national and local economies of certain countries, supporting over 1 million jobs spanning a wide variety of positions in tourism, transportation, agriculture, entertainment, healthcare. The cruise industry is also global in nature with an economic contribution that extends far beyond the employment of staff. The development of the cruise industry contributes directly and indirectly to the maintenance of specific economic sectors in a number of countries around the world. Cruise tourism also has significant potential as a source of economic development for coastal areas and cities. Specifically, these are the tasks that will be added to achieve the goal so formulated above.
