Summary/Abstract: Currency internationalization reflects the comprehensive strength of an economy entity. The process of Internationalization of the renminbi has gone through more than ten years. With the growth of China's economy and the improvement of its openness, the functions of international currencies such as cross-border payment, investment and financing, reserves and pricing of RMB have been comprehensively enhanced, and the international status of RMB has also been greatly improved. This paper provides a review to understand the current situation of RMB inter- nationalization.
