Summary/Abstract: Each beginning of the school year comes with a series of “wishes”, “desires” that can only be achieved through involvement and work on the part of students, teachers and parents. Sience 2013, the emphasis has been placed on the training of students skills, which represents a continuous process, which can take place both in the formal environment, through education and professional training, and informally, through life experiences, self-education and social interactions. The formation of literacy skills is a process by which children acquire and develop skills in reading, writing and information necessary for the effective functioning of everyday life and in society. The method represents the way in which the didactic process is organized. The most common method used during the literacy period is the game, being an effective method also due to the fact that it stimulates the students and helps them relax. In conclusion, the methods used to train literacy skills must be diverse, interactive and adapted to children`s in order to stimulate interest and desire to learn.
