Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author explores the fundamental principles of working with beginners in piano lessons, emphasizing the importance of the first meeting with the student, which is crucial for establishing an atmosphere of trust and calm. The author then describes the sequences of the piano lesson, structured to streamline the teaching process. The first part of the lesson includes exercises for joint relaxation and coordination of hand movements, which are crucial for developing flexibility and control. In the second part, exercises focus on hand coordination and finger independence. The teacher introduces concepts such as non-legato, staccato, and legato, concentrating on developing correct technique and optimal hand positioning on the piano. Additionally, music theory concepts and rhythmic exercises are taught to improve the student's musical understanding. In the third part of the lesson, all the exercises are transferred to the piano, where the student learns to touch the keys with precision, producing a clear sound. The exercises gradually progress from basic to more complex, including sight-reading and note interpretation in both clefs. The teacher constantly monitors the correct hand position, the development of proper touch, and ensures a strong connection between key touch and sound quality.
