Summary/Abstract: As part of the Multiannual Financial Framework 2028–2034 proposal, the European Commission presented a darft Regualtion for creating a European Competitiveness Fund. Combining innovative legal and administrative techniques, the fund aims to promote enterprises’ competitiveness, contributing to their success, sustainability, and resilience so that they are better prepared to cope with the increasingly complex external environment challenges. Recognizing the advantages that such a revolutionary approach offers, the report highlights the challenges in the application of these new instruments for achieving common European goals. It emphasizes on the need to clarify the terminology, develop detailed mechanisms and criteria for informing, encouraging participation, objective evaluation and ensuring successful implementation as to guarantee the effective, successful, and inclusive implementation of the planned tools, and presents concrete ideas to that effect.
