Summary/Abstract: Restricted data represents all aspects of life, and its collection and storage pose a major risk to what privacy means. Correct, ample and accessible information about the trends and realities of the modern information society, characteristic of all consolidated democracies, cannot fail to be welcomed by society as a whole. Adhering to most international meetings and expressing devotion to international principles and values, the Republic of Moldova harmonizes the regulation of social-economic relations. The theoretical significance of the study resides in the treatment of amplitude, regarding the concept of information and confidentiality, regarding the indispensable elements and conditions related to the freedom of access to information and the assurance of confidentiality. In this context, we point out that access to information and the regulation of confidentiality are subjects of particular weight in the daily activity of state structures and private individuals. The purpose of this study is to examine the particularities of limited access in the activity of public authorities and come up with proposals on the given subject.
