Summary/Abstract: The Battle of Stalingrad was an emblematic event and at the same time a bloody lesson in the Second World War, which changed the course of the nations involved in the conflagration. The battle encompassed a vast space, where the German and Soviet troops, of the two alliance blocs, fought urban battles in extreme conditions, where strategy was a decisive factor in achieving victory. As for the relations between the German and Romanian troops, they were a topic of debate because of the defective interactions that took place, their association contributing especially to the failure in the military campaign. Ineffective communication, discrepancy of resources, training, and strategic ones, made the actions at Stalingrad difficult, tilting the victory to the side of the Soviet Union.
