Summary/Abstract: The subject “Economic History” included in the curriculum of the “Marketing” major is intended to familiarize students with how people have provided themselves with food, shelter, clothing and other material benefits over the millennia. On the other hand, the subject under consideration also examines purely economic issues, such as: the role and place of money, labor markets and financial markets, taxes and their impact on the economy, the causes and consequences of economic and financial crises. This places the subject under consideration within the scope of the mandatory subjects for study by students of the “Marketing” major at the Bulgarian State University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”. In this regard, the main goal of this paper is to build a foundation of theoretical knowledge about the essence of economic history and to conduct a comparative analysis of the lecturers (of lectures and exercises) of the subject under consideration on it. For the purposes of the analysis, an empirical study was used, which was conducted using surveys distributed through the Google Forms system.
