In chronological order, the second part traces the expansion and development of the Internet of Things, highlighting the main milestones of its evolution from 2000 to 2024. In the third, concluding part, three stages in the development of IoT are distinguished - birth and initial development, growth and expansion, and ubiquitous connectivity and mass application.
