Summary/Abstract: The methodology of the study is built on the basis of two research methods: literature review and extrapolation. The object of the publication is aviation, and the subject matter is the future of aviation on a global scale. The aim of the study is to describe, analyze and assess the main trends and processes that may manifest themselves in the field of aviation in the near future with a time horizon of up to 2050. The study focuses on three key aspects: Future scenarios for the development of the world and their relationship with aviation; The European Union's vision of what aviation in Europe should look like in 2050; The future of the air transport system, with its four elements: airports, airlines, aircraft and air navigation services.
