Summary/Abstract: The study analyzes the complex and cognitive speed of soccer players aged 17 – 18 years old. The aim is to understand how these athletes process information and based on this, what decisions they make and what actions they take during a soccer match. Through observing their performance in various training exercises and match situations, the goal is to identify the factors contributing to the overall performance of the athletes and to outline areas for improvement. Emphasis is placed on cognitive abilities, execution technique, and the effect of integrating training approaches tailored to the distinctive qualities of the soccer players. Comparing traditional and innovative programs will lead to achieving the specific objectives and fulfilling the set tasks. We applied scientific methods such as sportspedagogical testing, sports-pedagogical experiment, and pedagogical observation of the motor-cognitive activity of the athletes. The analysis of the results will serve as a starting point for implementing training programs aimed at optimizing the mental preparedness of young soccer players. The study will provide new directions for future research in the field of sports science and soccer training methodology.
