Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to examine contemporary innovations in swimming and to analyze their significance for coaches, athletes, and sports organizations. International practice demonstrates the use of wearable sensors, smart glasses, and underwater video analysis to optimize technique and safety, whereas in Bulgaria the implementation of these technologies is limited, presenting opportunities for pilot projects and the adaptation of proven international practices. These innovations have the potential to improve the quality of training, enhance the efficiency of the coaching process, and support the development of sports science in the country.
