Summary/Abstract: The article explores the evolving perception of strength training among women and its growing significance within university sports. Drawing on professional and academic experience, the author emphasizes that resistance training not only enhances physical performance and metabolism but also has a profound impact on mental health, confidence, and stress resilience among female students. Common myths regarding „masculinization” are debunked, highlighting the realistic physiological adaptations specific to the female body. Within the context of student physical education, strength training is presented as a key tool for preventing musculoskeletal imbalances, improving posture, and fostering mental well-being. The author provides practical recommendations for safely integrating resistance exercises into women’s training programs and encourages educators and coaches to promote strength training as an essential component of student health and performance.
