Summary/Abstract: The study of students' sports interests is essential for attracting, satisfying, and retaining their attention towards physical education and sport. In the present study, we set a primary goal – to investigate the leading motives of the students from UCTM, Sofia (first and second year) in their choice of volleyball as a sport of practice. The study has aged and today, following the colossal success of the men's national volleyball team – the second place at the 2025 World Championship, we feel obliged to conduct a similar study and reveal how this success has influenced the students. On one hand – regarding their attitude towards this sport, and on the other – which new motives will determine their desire when choosing volleyball as a sport.
