Summary/Abstract: Futsal is generally perceived positively by young people, with many of them appreciating its dynamic nature and the opportunities for developing skills – ball control, passing, tactical awareness, etc. Students express enthusiasm for futsal as a fun and engaging alternative to traditional football, often participating in school and student events close to the specifics of futsal. The aim of the study is to investigate the opinion of students about futsal as future football coaches. A total of 76 students from the National Sports Academy „Vasil Levski“, Sofia, from the third and fourth year, Football Major, were surveyed. The survey conducted was of a closed type, contained 10 questions and was conducted in an electronic environment, using google forms. Despite the not so high level and popularity of futsal in Bulgaria, from the survey conducted we can note that football students from the National Sports Academy have an enviable knowledge of this type of football game, as a large part of the young specialists have watched and even played futsal. It is undisputed that the students' opinion is that futsal can be used as a training tool in football and that practicing futsal would raise the level of the players.
