Summary/Abstract: Table tennis is a popular and very well-known sport that is practiced by many people all over the world. The simple rules of the game, the minimal conditions for its implementation, lower costs for equipment and gear make it practically feasible in various conditions, including in higher education. The aim of this study is to propose a model for assessing the physical and technical preparedness of students studying Table Tennis in sports groups at Shumen, Ruse and Technical Universities. Assessing students with tests leads to an increase in the effectiveness of motor training.
