Summary/Abstract: In thequicksandofourbusinessworldtoday, the figure of themanager appearslikeafulcrum, acharacterexpectedtokeepthebusinessinbalanceno matterthecircumstances, owingtosomespecialskillsandqualities. Theideal manager features a layered personality that brings together a wide variety of qualities and skills, just like in a colorful mosaic. The present paper tries to unveil one by one all the `layers` of the managers` inner structure and to understandhowdifferentformsofdeterminismgenerateparticularfeatures which altogether finally shape an efficient leader.
