Summary/Abstract: This study addresses the pressing issue of the US-China trade war's impact on the resilience of European logistics systems. The paper aims to analyze the conflict's effects on the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of EU supply chains. The methodology employs time-series analysis of Eurostat import data for critical goods, an event-based approach, and interpretation of operational logistics indicators. The main results reveal a pattern of „shock → adaptation → recovery“, accompanied by rising costs and persistent delivery time instability, defining a shift towards „costly resilience“. The study identifies key adaptation mechanisms and proposes policy directions focused on supply diversification and resilience enhancement. Research limitations relate to data granularity and the challenge of isolating the trade war's effects from other global factors.
