Summary/Abstract: The acquisition of skills and key competencies that are in demand in the labor market is a topical issue, especially when it comes to logistics. The aim of the study is to reveal the basic skills of a logistics professional for the labor market and the possibilities for using methods to increase the activity of students in logistics training, which will support the process of acquiring skills for the labor market. A survey was conducted among 144 students studying logistics and supply chains. The results of the survey show the need to increase active methods in training for acquiring skills for the labor market in the field of logistics and the desire of students to actively engage in discussions during the learning process.
