Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to toilet euphemisms in modern Russian language. The author of the article pays special attention to the analysis of the semantic, functional and linguistic and cultural aspects. The use of euphemisms as emotionally neutral words and phrases is determined by various circumstances in order to mitigate the situation and adversely affect the listener or the speaker.
