Summary/Abstract: Blok's “Strange Woman” has been regarded as one of the most perfect poems in Russian lyric poetry. For a long time, scholars in China have focused on the ideological content of the poem but neglected its artistic connotation. The artistic function of linguistic and rhetorical means and metrical variations in revealing the theme and shaping the characters as well as the structure of the poem is unique in the history of Russian poetry, and at the same time, it is also the most concentrated and typical manifestation of the poem's symbolism and Blok's personalized artistic transcendence of symbolism.
