Summary/Abstract: The conception of “poetics of an author” in the sense of a style and series of procedures that characterize, motivate and organize his or her work has to be paid attention to in order to translate a text. In the present article, I use this notion of poetics and combine it with the notion of rhythm as conceived by H. Meschonnik in order to carry out a contrastive analysis of my translations into Spanish of “The Hanging ofVasil Levsky” by Hristo Botev and “Nightingales sing” by Konstantin Pavlov.
